Lucy is now mimicking "MaMa"! Her version is a screechier and the last "Ma" is usually long, drawn out, and loud. It was weird for her to wake me up this morning by saying Mama instead of her usual crying.
She is also starting to sit up by herself! It's amazing to watch her learn new things. It must be very exciting for her to discover what her body can do and how her voice works. She's also mobile now! When she gets bored of watching her activity center, she will roll over onto her belly and scoot backwards off the blanket. She's not quite sure what to do then. We need to work on getting her on her knees and moving forward!
We are getting ready for our Seattle trip next week. If any of you readers have flown with a 5 month old, feel free to pass on any tips and tricks! I plan on nursing during take off and landing to help with the pressure in her ears. Keeping her entertained for 4 hours in a chair is going to be a little tough.
She will do fine. You, on the other hand as the mother, will be wreck!
